Hi Everyone,

My name is Rose Brown, Miss Rose to my culinary classmates.  I hope to graduate by summers end 2014.

My plans are to open a bakery and specialize in Designer Cakes.

I retired and moved here from Indiana three years ago, and surprise, surprise, started school for Culinary Arts.  I LOVE it.  I don't know how I worked over 20 years as a boring payroll manager, when this world of beauty, fun, and excitement was waiting for me.  And to think I moved to this small town of Copperas Cove, to relax and enjoy my grand-daughter, and found my heart.

I am so new to designing cakes, but have been baking for years for friends and family.  It's almost like being a kid again, but playing with different toys.

Sometimes I drive my classmates crazy, when I get excited about an idea for a cake.  I'm constantly picking their brains and asking for input and advise.  I'm the type of person when I get into something, I'm in it 200%.
